ASIC Platform
D&R web site has as mission to follow the evolution of the
IP/SOC market and covers at any time the hottest points in the
field. Recognizing the growing importance of Asic platforms,
D&R is willing to propose accurate catalogs of Asic platforms on
its web site. This action will cover all types of Asic Platforms
such as processor centric, communication centric,
technology centric, design flow centric, application centric
etc...

on our web site after IP/SOC 2003.
3.D&R as a
software vendor
Following the 2 first products namely IP Manager Series tm
creating powerful reuse stations, highly recognized for its catalog
flexibility and import /export primitives and eDesign Manager tm
creating an IP packaging and delivery platform, D&R
launches a third software called Asic Platform Manager tm at
IP/SOC 2003. The software relies on the advanced
features of the 2 previous products and has strong support for
third Parties IP management and IP based SOC project design data
management.
Overall D&R software is intensively used
worldwide for delivering services in the IP world as well as
creating advanced intranet reuse environment. The experiences
accumulated over 6 years in this field with so many partners results
in the most visionary tool allowing to put in place
Reuse practices and IP based Asic platform. Come and visit our

4. IP/SOC 2003 (November 13-14, 2003 -
Grenoble, France)
The event appears to be a big success and we are pleased to
see that a very live community has been created in this
field.
Let us mention some hot points in addition to an exciting
program:
- D&R holds a free seminar prior to the conference,
Wednesday at 6:00 PM to report on its mission (role and function
of the web site, the provider gateway, D&R toolset). It seems
reasonable after 6 years of services to report and gather your
feedbacks about what D&R tries to accomplish. Register online:

- Four events (2 sessions and 2 panels) have been selected
to become live event on D&R web site for 6 months after the
workshop under the sponsorship of a company :
- Two sessions namely the verification session , the
Asic best prize candidates session
- Two panels namely the System C panel and the Asic
platform panel
- These live seminars will be hold each year and we hope that
you will appreciate this new D&R initiative.
- Last and not least there will be a strong competition for the
best IP/SOC prize involving 4 pre selected Japanese
candidates.
